This policy describes how iCallme Co., Ltd. ("iCallme", "we", "our", or "us") processes your personal data when you use the iCallme mobile application ("the Application") and our other related services (collectively, "the Services").

We collect personal data from you when you create a profile, use the Services, and interact with us. The types of data we may collect include:

  • User Profile Information: When you create a profile, we collect your first name, last name, and phone number. You may optionally provide additional information such as a profile photo, gender, email, address, or other details.

  • Usage and Device Information: We automatically collect information about how you interact with the Services, including your IP address, device ID, device type, operating system, usage statistics (such as features accessed, time spent), and incoming/outgoing call/message logs.

  • Message and Call Data: With your explicit consent, we process SMS and MMS data on your device to block spam messages, categorize messages, and provide smart summaries and reminders.[3] We also collect call data (phone numbers, time, date, duration) to provide call logs.[3] The content of your messages is processed for sending and receiving, after which it is deleted from our servers.

  • Contact Information: To provide the core features of the Application, we may collect and use information from your contacts, including phone numbers and call history.

  • Call Recordings: Your voice and call recordings are only collected by us when you actively and voluntarily use the call recording feature. We act as the data processor for these recordings and transcriptions, and you are responsible for notifying the other parties on the call that the recording is taking place and, if necessary, obtaining their consent.

  • Data from Third Parties and Public Sources: We may collect data from our partners, public sources, or other third parties, including competent authorities, to provide our Services.

3. Purpose and Legal Basis for Data Processing

We process your personal data based on the legal grounds stipulated in the GDPR.

  • Advertising and Marketing: With your explicit consent, to display targeted advertisements.

    • Retention Period: Until you withdraw your consent.

    • Retention Period: For the duration required by law.
